Dasvi (transl. Tenth) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language social comedy movie written by Ritesh Shah and directed by newcomer Tushar Jalota. The movie (Dasvi Movie) is produced by Dinesh Vijan underneath his banner Maddock Films in collaboration with Jio Studios. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur.
Bachchan performs the function of an uneducated politician, with Gautam as an IPS officer.The movie is scheduled to premiere on Netflix and JioCinema on 7 April 2022.
Plot
The story took inspiration from the true life incident of former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala who on the age of 82 cleared his Class XII examination whereas in jail being convicted within the academics’ recruitment rip-off case.
